Open water diver is the first complete course in the diving career. It's a 4-5 day course depending your program. This is a comprehensive course that includes serious diving theory and practical skills that will build up your self confidence. It is the core of the diving programs.
The certification is a card with global recognition.
The course starts with basic theory, before to enters the water, are following 5 confined water dives (sea or pool) at our beautiful ligaria beach and then 4 open water dives in which the last is from the boat up to 18m, the limited depht of your level.
Theoretical lessons of the course, take place between the dives , in the European Diving Institute classroom.
Day 1:

Morning: filling diving form / watch diving videos

Afternoon: Discovering of the diving equipment
Day 2:

Morning: knowledge review and quiz 1,2,3 / confined water 1,2,3

Afternoon: open sea 1 / filling log book
Day 3:

Morning: knowledge review and quiz 4,5 / confined water 4,5

CERTIFICATION!!!
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn an Open Water Diver certification. You must be older than the age of 15 to begin the Open Water Diver program. orJunior Open Water diver 12 years old may only dive with a Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.
